Tara and Jimmy’s Wedding
When I first met with Tara in September of last year, I had no idea that she was going to become such a good friend throughout this wedding planning process. Being a part of Tara and Jimmy’s wedding has been such an honor and I have loved getting to know them, their friends, and their families.
Everything about their wedding Tara had thought out and planned with such detail. When we started out with the planning, the wedding had just a little Indian influence to honor her father. However, as the planning process went along, more and more Indian influence seemed to get added into the mix. At one point I think we realized that the entire wedding was just going to be very Indian-inspired and ran with it. :)
From the custom made gowns from India (that I got to alter) and golden manzanita branches to Indian drummers and elephants galore, their wedding was simply amazing. I really could go on about each detail that Tara planned, but I’ll let the pictures (and my comments interspersed) tell you instead.
Tara is making a deal with her son Noah… if he cooperates and takes pictures, she’ll buy him a present!
This dress was gorgeous on her. Yes, it was heavy. I would know; I did the alterations on it. My arms got workouts just from lifting it up and sewing on all the rhinestones.
